Amarillo police searching for suspect charged with murder of man found in alley
AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) —
A man has now been charged with murdering 51-year-old Albert Phillip Pacheco Jr., the man found dead in an Amarillo alley on May 14.
The Amarillo Police Department said Friday that the Special Crimes Unit obtained a warrant charging 34-year-old Jorge Alberto Falcon Sanchez.
According to APD, SCU investigators determined Sanchez lived in the area of the homicide and recovered evidence linking him to the murder.
Authorities are now turning to the public for help in finding Sanchez.
Police said he is 5' 8" and weighs 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
According to APD, he was last seen in Amarillo on May 14 and is not known to have a vehicle.
