A man has been arrested for intoxicated assault and booked into the Randall County Jail after a Saturday night crash.

Amarillo Police were called to a motor vehicle collision at W. 10th and S. Adams at about 9:45, Saturday night. Upon their arrival they discovered a white 1994 Cadillac four door driven by 27-year old Devon White of Amarillo had been westbound on 10th. A black 2004 Ford Mustang driven by 27-year old Jack David Tunnell of Amarillo had been southbound on South Adams. Witnesses told police that the Cadillac ran a red light hitting the Ford Mustang. Tunnell was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injures. A passenger in his vehicle, 26-year old Amanda Radah McCarty was also taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. White was not hurt.

Police said White was arrested for two counts of Intoxicated Assault and booked into the Randall County Jail. Speed and alcohol are factors in the wreck.
