Fri, 17 May 2013 17:16:03 GMT —
Members of the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 0542 of the Amarillo Fire Department will be out in the community Friday and Saturday collecting donations to help children and adults in the Panhandle living with neuromuscular disease.
They will be located at the intersections of Coulter & 45th, Bell and 34th, and Ross & I-40 to fill the Boot for MDA.
Fire fighters are helping the Muscular Dystrophy Association fight neuromuscular disease by raising funds for research, clinical care, and support services. They also help send kids to MDA Summer Camp free of charge.
