Wed, 08 May 2013 03:00:00 GMT — Amarillo Estate mobile homes were auctioned off Tuesday in the Sheriff Property Sale. However, some trailers still had people living in them at the time they were auctioned leaving many to wonder are they going to be kicked out of their homes? Amarillo Estates Property Manager said not one person will be kicked out. â??We had about 30 mobile homes that we sold for back taxes. Out of the 30, we sold all but 3,â?? said Potter County Tax Assessor-Collector, Sherri Aylor. The property manager went to the Potter County Tax Office to purchase most of the homes that went up for auction. The remaining mobile homes he said he will work with the renters to help them find somewhere else to live. â??I do know that some trailers were sold, but Tom has made arrangements to put them in another home,â?? said one of the residents, Eulla Leal.
