6 arrested in Amarillo homicide investigation

UPDATE: APD has made an additional arrest in the homicide investigation. 50-year-old Donna Jackson Colson was arrested Friday for tampering with evidence. Colson was arrested in the Special Crimes Unit and booked into the Potter County Correction Center.

5 men have been arrested in connection with the dumped body investigation by APD.

29-year-old Lance Hooser was found in the 200 block of South Bryan with his hands and feet bound on Monday August 12, 2013. Hooser's body had been dumped out a Maroon vehicle. Preliminary autopsy results indicate that Hooser died from a gun shot wound to the chest.

APD received several witness tips and investigation led them to identifying five suspects involved in the murder of Lance Hooser. On Friday, APD arrested 25-year-old Ricky Don Burns for murder. Burns was booked into the Potter County Correction Center.

APD later arrested 52-year-old Terry Daniel Young for murder. Young was arrested while driving the suspect vehicle and booked into Potter County Correction Center.

According to APD 3 more were arrested for aggravated kidnapping. 32-year-old Robert Wyatt Melton, 41-year-old Jeffrey Sean Noblett and 47-year-old Bobby Guy Crawford were booked into the Potter County Correction Center on Sunday.

The case is still under investigation by APD.
