Four men were arrested Friday by Amarillo police after running from officers in a vehicle and later on foot.

Officers on scene of the incident told ABC 7 News a black Honda was spotted near Crockett Middle School and Teckla Blvd without a license plate.

That's when officers attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver refused and kept driving.

Police later found the car in an alley in the 5000 block of Everett Ave.

Four males ran from the vehicle on foot and were caught by officers.

They were all taken to jail for evading arrest.

Officers said the car had dealers tags, which seemed to be torn off. However, they were still working to determine exactly why the subjects ran from police.
