Two were arrested on Sunday after Amarillo police officers discovered pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop.
Amarillo police officers conducted a traffic stop at Pine Ridge and Landon on a 2012 Dodge pickup occupied by a man and woman.
During the investigation, two containers were found inside the vehicle of approximately three-and-a-half pounds of methamphetamine.
Street value for the drugs is $160,000.
Pablo Barriga-Avalos, 23, and Cynthia Marbel Leon-Melendez, 36, both of Hutchins, Texas, were charged with manufacture/delivery of controlled substance penalty group over 400 grams. They were both booked into Randall County.
