3 Amarillo teens arrested after shots were fired

On Friday, August 30th at 1:30 a.m., Amarillo Police Department officers were sent to the 100 block of North Maryland on a report of shots being fired.

The report indicated that a possible suspect vehicle was a light colored Jeep. Upon arrival, an officer said he observed a vehicle matching the description and stopped the vehicle in the 100 block of North Florida. Three occupants were removed from the vehicle and detained while officers conducted their investigation. There were no injuries reported and it appears that a house in the area suffered some minor damage. Officers located spent shotgun casings in the vehicle along with a sawed off shotgun. All three occupants were brought to the Police Department for questioning and were later booked on various charges. The driver was identified as 18-year old Donald Frazier. He was arrested and charged with deadly conduct. A passenger was identified as 17-year old Dorian Tyrell Allen. He too was arrested and charged with deadly conduct, possession of a prohibited weapon, and three municipal warrants. The other passenger, 18-year old Randolph Dwayne Sims was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
