24 pounds of marijuana was seized on April 30, 2013 by Amarillo Police Department COPPS Officers after they received information that marijuana was being transported through Amarillo on a Greyhound Bus.
Undercover officers had a description of a bag that was believed to have the drugs and waited at the bus terminal as passengers picked up their bags.
According to police a man picked up the suspected bag and police began to follow him. Officers could smell the marijuana from the bag so they stopped the man and searched his bags.
Officers found two blocks of marijuana in the bags and arrested the man.
18-year-old Joshua Benjamin Coleman was booked into the Potter County Detention Center for possession of marijuana.
