Tuesday morning at approximately 9:10 a.m. a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper stopped a Toyota Scion for a traffic violation near Conway in Carson county.
During the traffic stop, the trooper searched the vehicle and found six pounds of methamphetamine worth more than $222,000. According to DPS, the drugs were found inside zip lock bags in the rear quarter panel.
21-year-old Moses Aaron Chacon, and 34-year-old Glenda Judith Chacon were identified as the occupants of the vehicle. They were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and booked into the Carson County Jail.
DPS said the drugs were allegedly being transported from Los Angeles Calif. to Kansas City Mo.
