OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Police are investigating two weekend accidents in which bicyclists were struck and killed.
Police say 75-year-old Clyde Armstrong Riggs was riding in far eastern Oklahoma City on Sunday when he was struck by a pickup truck. He was pronounced dead at Presbyterian Hospital. On Saturday, 56-year-old Alan Spencer and his bike were found in a ditch. There were no witnesses to the Saturday accident.
Riggs was an Oklahoma City builder and developer who founded Clyde Riggs Construction. The two deaths come as big blows to Oklahoma City's cycling community.
The driver in Sunday's accident was interviewed and the case is still under investigation. Sunday's accident was four miles from where Spencer was killed.
