1 dead, 1 charged with aggravated assault after fight at Dumas club
DUMAS, Texas (KVII) —
The Dumas Police Department is looking for information on an assault at a local club that led to the death of a California man.
According to police, officers and EMS were dispatched to the club in the 1700 block of S. Dumas Avenue on an assault. Armando Damasco, 32, of Fresno, Calif., was found unconscious upon emergency personnel's arrival.
Damasco was transported to the Moore County Hospital and later to Northwest Texas Hospital in critical condition.
Joseph Radford, 37, of Dumas was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault.
Damasco was pronounced dead on April 23 at NWTH. The cause of death is under investigation pending autopsy results.
