Good life, Good Food: Grilled Pork Loin Chops and Grilled Peaches
Serve cooked loin chops with a fresh sautéed veg or rice. Top them with a brush of the remaining marinade and then sliced grilled peaches! Nothing says summer like fresh fruit. Pairing this savory flavored chop with the natural sweetness of the grilled peaches will make any meal a Good one! Enjoy with your family and friends this summer!
- 2 ea 6 oz pork loin chops
- 1 Tblspn garlic, minced
- 2 Tblspn brown sugar
- 3 Tblspn honey
- 3 Tblspn Kikkoman low sodium Soy Sauce
- 3 Tblspn Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tspn ketchup
- ½ tspn McCormick ground ginger
- ½ tspn McCormick onion powder
- ¼ tspn McCormick cinnamon
- 1/8 tspn McCormick cayenne pepper
- 2 ea ripe peaches, cut in half and pitted
- 1 tspn Honey Ginger Balsamic Amarillo Grape and Olive
- 1 Tblspn brown sugar
Mix in a bowl, garlic, brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, ginger, onion powder, cinnamon and cayenne pepper together in a bowl. Pour half the marinade into a large zip lock bag, and place the loin chops into the marinade. Remove the air from the bag and refrigerate 4 to 8 hours, turning occasionally. Refrigerate remaining marinade.
Preheat grill to medium high heat, lightly oil the grates.
Remove loin chops from the bag and shake off excess liquid. Discard the marinade from the plastic bag. Grill chops on the preheated grill, basting with reserved marinade. Internal temperature should be 145 degrees
While chops are grilling, baste peach halves with the Honey Ginger Balsamic, and sprinkle brown sugar. Place face down (pit side) and grill till caramelized and soften. Take them off to cool.
