Turkey Florentine Melt

The fresh flavors of this incredible melt is great for a spring time evening or that little weekend gathering.


  • ½ lb shaved smoked turkey breast
  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • 8 slices thin sliced provolone cheese
  • 1 C baby spinach
  • 1 Tblspn fresh basil leaves
  • 1 Tblspn Tuscan Blend olive oil, Amarillo Grape & Olive
  • 1 tspn balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tspn kosher salt
  • ½ tspn McCormick coarse ground pepper
  • 8 slices fresh tomatoes
  • 2 Tblspn butter


In a bowl, mix together your baby spinach and rough chopped basil

In a small bowl mix together the vinegar, oil and some kosher salt and coarse black pepper, mix it well

Preheat your saute pan or flat grill to medium high.

Butter one side of two slices of sourdough bread

Place in saute pan or grill, top each slice with a slice of provolone cheese, then your dressed spinach mix, followed by a slice of tomato and then some of your shaved turkey.

Place the dressed slices on top of each other and grill until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.

Cut the melts in quarters for a great finger food option. The combination of the spinach salad, smoked turkey and creamy provolone makes this simple melt a fresh, fast and flavorful dish to relax with and Enjoy!
